I'm not sure how many comic book blogs have started with a post title like this one, I imagine it's a lot, but we're just a bit different from them. How, you ask?
We're a group of friends from the Baltimore, MD area and we've got a question. Why have comics left such a lasting mark on pop culture? Superman, considered the world's first superhero, popped up 75 years ago and is as relevant today as he was in June 1938, but why? How have these characters managed to stay at the forefront of pop culture for so long?
We intend to find out. Join us as we travel across country visiting comic landmarks and talking with fans across America to find out.
